Liposuction

Accompanied my aunt yesterday morning at The Riverside Medical Center for a Liposuction-touch up. It's a very quick procedure which lasted less than 30 minutes. She was an out-patient.

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery operation that remove fats from different areas in the body. Last year my aunt underwent abdominal liposuction already. Today is just a touch-up. She is based in the United States.

Before entering the hospital you must surrender an ID to be given access cards depending on the floor you will be going to. In our case, the second floor - where the operating room is stationed.

First step was admitting section. Their staff are friendly and accommodating.

Then, I went to the cashier to make a deposit.

And we were off to the Operating Room on the second floor. This is their waiting area. The sofa survived 10 typhoons that's why it is sporting "that" tattered look! Hahahaha!

After the operation, my aunt was up and about. No signs of dizziness. LOL! We need to wait for at least an hour before we can get her clearance and pay any excess beyond the deposit amount. We killed time at Bob's Restaurant, right across the hospital. I can already feel the flu slowly catching up on me. Bad.

Mom's Blepharoplasty A Success

Mother Dear underwent Blepharoplasty! Blepharoplasty is the removal of either the excess skin or fats from either the lower or upper eyelid. She had it done at the Riverside Medical Center here in Bacolod City. Of course, her Doctor is one of the finest in this field not only in Bacolod but in the entire Philippines!

This was taken before the operation. Take note of her eyebags! It's backpacking bigtime!

And a sideview photo of the eyebags:

Day 1 Post Operations @ the Doctor's Clinic: Bird's Eye view. Seemed like she was punched by Manny Pacquio on both eyes.

Day 1 Post Operations @ the Doctor's Clinic - getting ready to have some of the stitches removed. It looked painful but according to her she did not feel any pain at all. Mind over matter. Ha! :)

Day 1 Post Operations @ home: plasters were placed on the sides and on the lower eyelids after the stitches were removed.

Day 5 @ the Doctor's Clinic: After all the remaining stiches were removed. Looking Fab, what say you?

Day 7: Compare the pre-operation photo and this! What a great improvement!

Day 10: Looking 20 years younger. And this is less than two weeks only.
